中文摘要：部分辞书对"天女散花"的注释有误漏之处。经考证,我们认为,"天女散花"故事来源于三国吴支谦译《维摩诘经.观人物品第七》。成语"天女散花"由佛源意义可以引申出三层意思:一是用于营造庄严吉祥或者福至人间的气氛,二是借以比喻神韵飞扬、异彩纷呈的景象,三是形容物体纷纷扬扬从空中抛洒的样子。在佛教中国本土化的进程中,"天女散花"的理据渐渐与汉民族文化相融合,并发展成为一个大众喜闻乐见、褒义色彩浓厚的词语,但随着人类认识世界的深入,其意义范围扩大,褒义色彩逐渐淡化。

英文摘要：Explanations of idiom Tiannü sanhua(天女散花)in many dictionaries take on some mistakes.The story of the idiom Tiannü sanhua(天女散花)derives from the Wei Mojie scripture translated by Zhiqian(支谦) of the state of Wu in Three kingdoms period.The idiom Tiannü sanhua may be expanded to three explanation by the Buddhist scripture primary meaning.Firstly,it was used to build the atmosphere which is dignified and propitious,or the lucky to the world.Secondly,it was used to create the setting which is full of spirit,or a colourful picture.Thirdly,it was described that the objects are thrown from the sky,which are of thick falling.In the process of localization of Buddhism in China,the meaning of the idiom is gradually integrated with the Han culture,and developed into a word which the public love to see and melioration coloring is bright.But,along with peoples'in-depth understanding about the world,its meaning has been widened,its melioration coloring has been fading gradually.
