中文摘要：黄遵宪是中国近代诗界革命的一面旗帜。在亘古未有的社会变革中,选择“诗外有事,诗中有人”的诗学路径,力主以今人所见之理,所历之境,所遭之时势入诗,为了无生气的诗坛吹嘘进若干时代与生命的气息;在近代古今中外新旧杂陈的文化矩阵中,自觉调整自己的认识和心态,以兼容宏通的气度,致力于古典诗学传统的现代转换;穿越诗坛复古拟古的迷雾,以“我手写我口”的胆识和倡言,昭示并身体力行于诗体、诗歌语言变革创新之路。一生以“别创诗界”自期的黄遵宪,因此而成为中国诗歌从古典走向现代历史过程中一位承先启后的探索者和开拓者。

英文摘要：Huang Zunxian was a standard-bearer of the revolution of modern Chinese poetry. He took the poetic line of “things outside t h e poetry and human beings inside the poetry”, for the purpose of p utting the truthful and lively modern world into the poetry. He took t he initiative to adjust his own consciousness in a world of multitude and ambivalence. So, he strove to converse the classic Chine se poetry into modern one by advocating the practice of “writing ora l poems” (“我手写我口”).He considered himself to be one who created a new poetic universe in China, at least an explorer or a beginne r in the modern Chinese poetic history.
