中文摘要：保圣寺在江苏吴县甪直镇。20世纪二三十年代,因寺内罗汉塑像的发现和保护为人们所关注,但对于同样重要的大殿却未予重视,以至最终遭到损毁。保圣寺大殿为北宋中期江南木构殿常,现仍保存有部分较为翔实的文献和实物资料。本文根据已知史料,分析并复原保圣寺大殿,以此增进对宋代江南木构建筑的认识,并作为现存极少的江南北宋木构建筑的一个补充,可见自五代以来江南建筑的地域做法和传统特色。

英文摘要：Baosheng temple is situated at Luzhi Town, Wu County, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Between the second and third decade of the 20th century, it drew the public's attention because of the discovery and protection of the arhat statues in this temple. But, the equally important main hall was in ruins due to carelessness. Baosheng temple's main hall is a wooden architecture of the South Changjiang River in the middle Northern Song Dynasty. Some full and accurate doucuments and material data have been preserved down, that is profitable to its study. Basing on known historical data, the author analyzes and restores the mian hall to promote the knowledge about the wooden architecture of the South River in Song Dynasty, and replenish the scarcely-exist building of this period. Through the essay, we are aware of the local feature and traditional characteristic of the South River since Five Dynasties.
