中文摘要：本文通过对麦积山第74、78窟装饰纹样及造像衣饰等方面的考察与云冈、莫高窟、河西金塔寺等石窟的对比研究,认为第74、78窟开凿于文成帝复法后的470年左右。

英文摘要：This article had examined and studied the decorative pattern designs that was found in Cave 74 and Cave 78 and as well as the dress of the sculptures that the sculptures original had on inside of Cave 74 and Cave 78 very carefully and had made a comparative study in the specific topic with other sites such as the Yungang Grottoes in Shanxi Province, Mogao Grottoes and the Jingtasi Grottoes along the Hexi Corridor at the same time, then the author draws a conclusion that Cave 74 and 78 at Maiji Mountain Grottoes must be constructed round the year of 470 AD after the great event of the Emperor Wen Cheng of the Northern Wei Dynasty had restored back Buddhism as State established Religion.
