中文摘要：本文借助当代基督教神学资源对 2 0世纪西方文论中的“意义”问题进行讨论。文章指出 ,被许多文学研究者所不屑的“确定性”和“客观性”论证 ,恰好是德国神学家艾伯林和英国神学家托伦斯的最主要命题 ;而文学研究常常涉及的“间性”和“他者” ,也通过当代神学与德里达的相互阐发 ,获得了完全不同的意义。作者认为 ,文论研究或许可以借鉴当代神学的理论模型和逻辑工具走出“意义”消解的怪圈

英文摘要：This essay discusses the problem of meaning in 20th century Western literary theories and criticism by making use of theological resources. Such neglected topics as “certainty” and “objectivity” are exactly the main body of theological studies by Gerhard Ebeling in Germany and Thomas Forsyth Torrance in Britain. Meanwhile, such heated topics as “inter-ness” and “otherness” have also taken on new meaning through the reciprocal interpretation between Derrida and modern theology. The author believes that to appropriate the theoretical modes and logical methods of contemporary theology is perhaps the way for literary studies to get out of the weird phenomenon of deconstructing meaning.
