中文摘要：2003年春 ,浙江省绍兴市出土一件50字铭的青铜甬钟。此器为典型的甬钟形式 ,却自铭为“铎”。西周甬钟源于南方商周时期的大铙 ,所以这件甬钟自铭为“铎”或许正是南方大铙的本来名称。此甬钟从铭文字体看 ,是典型的越国鸟虫书风格 ,铭文却注明是徐器 ,或可表明是徐人流亡越地后所作。因此 ,这件青铜甬钟的铸造地 ,当在越国故都绍兴 ,其具体年代约在越王勾践晚期或稍后。

英文摘要：A Bronze bell unearthed at Shaoxing,Zhejiang in2003carries an inscription of50characters.The bell is in the form of a yong-bell but defines itself as duo-bell.The reason may lie in the fact that the yong of the Western Zhou developed from the large nao-bell,which might be first called duo in south China.The inscription on this bell is written in typical bird-and-worm script of the Yue State while indicating its belonging to the Xu people.It is likely that bell was made by the Xu people,who migrated to the Yue Sate.The place of its manufacture seems to be Shaoxing,the then capital of the Yue Sate,and the date,the late reigning period of King Goujian or later.
