中文摘要：陈诚的家世生平 ,一直存在一些隐匿不清之处。本文据新发现的陈诚文集、家谱资料 ,考述了陈诚的一生 ,对陈诚的祖籍、家世、生卒、登科、仕宦、交游、谪戍北户良乡、与修《永乐大典》、一使安南、五使西域、家居赋闲、晚年起用等生平活动业绩作了系统梳理 ,并附以《陈诚年表》。

英文摘要：There exits some points unclear about Chen Cheng's life and his family. Based on newly found Chen Cheng's collected works and his genealogical table, this paper studies Chen Cheng's life, his own birth and death, passing civil examinations, being an official, circle of friends, being relegated to Liangxiang of Beijing, being a member of those who compiles The Yongle Canon, being sent to Annan and the Western Regions as an envoy, being dismissed and reinstated, as well as his ancestral home and family. Demonstrated the family history and life of Chen Cheng, the envoy who was sent to the Western Regions in Ming Dynasty, this study is a breakthrough in the studies of Chen Cheng.
