英文摘要：The Quliang site lies to the north of Quliang village, Quliang township, Xinmi city, Henan province. From the 1960s to the 1980s, a number of pottery, bronze and jade artifacts of the Xia and Shang period were discovered in succession, which aroused scholars' interest. Some scholars even consider this site to be a crucial clue for inquiry into the location of Kunwu, a local state in the Xia period.During March to May 1988, the Archaeology Department of Peking University and the Zhengzhou Municipal Archaeological Team excavated this site jointly, and brought to light a batch of data of the Erlitou culture, the Upper Erligang and Baijiazhuang phases of the Shang culture, and the Han culture. The findings shed light on the cultural aspect and chronological sequence of the Quliang site, the distribution and features of the Xia and Shang cultures in Zhengzhou area, and the related issues of this period.The present report publishes the data from the area the Archaeology Department of Peking University excavated.
