中文摘要：传统工艺美术是中国传统文化和艺术的一部分,它既是物质的又是非物质的;作为商品生产,它有着巨大的经济价值。在以科技为主导的现代社会,传统工艺美术的保护与发展遭遇到了发展经济、技术更新和文化变迁的三大矛盾,产生了传承乏人、创新不易、保护不力的诸多问题。作者通过实际的调查研究,提出了自己的相关思考。

英文摘要：Traditional crafts and fine arts are a part of the traditional Chinese culture and art. They are both material and immaterial. As commercial products, they have great economic values. In modern society which is dominated by science and technology, the protection and development of traditional crafts and fine arts are confronting such difficulties as economic development, innovation of skills and cultural transformation, the result of which is the lack of inheritors, originality and protection. This paper, based on field investigations, tries to put forward some consideration about these lacks.
