中文摘要：“之”字是古代汉语中最常见的词汇之一,也是《庄子》书中使用频率较高的一个词。它词性多样,用法灵活复杂。弄清“之”字的动词用法和在具体语言环境中的翻译,对深入理解庄子的思想体系及《庄子》一书的文本内容、语法特点、修辞手法均具有重要作用。文章对通行的有关《庄子》一书的各种注本中,某些“之”字的用法及翻译提出质疑,以期见教于大方之家。同时提出用古人观念还原辨析古人的语言的研究方法。

英文摘要：In ancient Chinese,the word“Zhi'is one of everyday expressions,and occurs in highest frequency in the work“zhuang Zi”.Its diverse word classes and flexible uses,so correct understanding the word as a verb as well as appropriate interpreting in contexts is essential to further obtain Zhuang Zi's thinking systems,the content itself,the grammatical features and rhetorics.Some queries are raised concerning the explanations and translations about“Zhi”in different versions to expect some scholars' attention.In addition, the research method,namely,shaping and analyzing the ancient people's language according to their ideas has been put forward.
