中文摘要：<正> 秦王朝在中国古代历史上占有承前启后的地位,秦文化的起源、发展和演变也是我国多民族统一国家形成和发展的一段重要历程,因此对秦人及其文化源流的研究历来受到学术界重视。一般认为,茧形壶、扁形壶、蒜头长颈壶这三种器物最具有秦文化的典型特征,研究其年代、分期及类型演变,可以大大深化对秦文化的认识,前人论述也较多地涉及到这些方面。尤其秦式扁壶因为制作精美,造型典雅,历来也受到中外文物收藏界的重视,有关的著录和研究很多,如泊如斋重修明刊《博古图录》卷十三就著录

英文摘要：The flat-sided pot is one of the typical objects of the Qin culture.Through research on its naming,distribution,types,date,origin and evolutionary law,it can be concluded that the typical Qin-style flat-sided pot made its first appearance in the Guanzhong area and its vicinity in the mid and late Warring States period,then spread to other regions,prevailed in the Qin and Western Han dynasties, and fell and disappeared in the Eastern Han.It falls roughly into four types and several subtypes,which reflect its temporal and spatial evolution.Its diffusion and prevalence embodied the great strengthening of economic and cultural relations between different areas,and also reflected from an aspect the history of the conquest of the six states by the Qin Dynasty,the inheritance of Qin institutions by the Han and the formation of a united multinational state in the Qin and Han periods.
