中文摘要：清代中期,云南边疆地区聚集了大批内地民人从事银矿开发,形成了在边疆地区有影响的移民集团。本文对矿民集团中最有代表性的茂隆银厂吴尚贤的事迹进行了研究。认为矿民集团是边疆移民的重要类型,其在边境地区的拓张,和当地土司、山地民族乃至外国朝廷皆发生了复杂的关系,深深卷入到复杂的边疆事务中,对清王朝的边疆秩序既有冲击和扰动,也有支持与合作。清王朝对其策略是将其纳入边疆秩序中,如矿民的活动对边疆秩序形成冲击时,就给予无情的打击。这进一步说明了追求稳定而非扩张是清王朝在西南边疆最基本的政策。

英文摘要：In the mid-Qing Dynasty,groups of people from inner China immigrated to Yunnan Province's border area to mine silver.Based on study of the most representative figure Wu Shangxian,this paper pointed out that the miner group was an important type of immigrants to the borderland,and they were involved in the complicated borderland affairs,posing some impact and disturbance to the Qing Dynasty's borderland order,although they supported and cooperated with the Qing Dynasty.The Qing Dynasty's strategy was to put them under the borderland order,and to suppress them when they impeded the borderland order,which signifies the Qing Dynasty's policy was to pursuit stability of its southeast borderland,not to expand its territory.
