中文摘要：1924—1927年间,国民党中政会的人事、组织与职能变动不居。胡汉民、汪精卫、蒋介石之间的党魁继承人之争,西山会议派掀起的中执会与中政会之争,南昌政治会议与武汉临时联席会议之争等,中政会均成为矛盾的焦点。仅据法规条文无法判断中政会的实际职能;仅从职能变化也无法判明其权力斗争的内幕。一切都在"党章"、"党纪"、"党权"、"党统"等名义下进行,一切又以实力较量和权谋运用为依归。

英文摘要：Between 1924 and 1927,the personnel,organization and functions of the Central Political Committee of the Nationalist Party were in constant flux.Hu Hanmin,Wang Jingwei and Chiang Kai-shek struggled for the control of the party;the Xishan Group provoked clashes between the Central Executive Committee and the Central Political Committee;and the Nanchang Political Congress and the Wuhan Provisional Joint Conference confronted each other.The Central Political Committee was at the heart of all these struggles.It is impossible to judge its actual role merely from the legal provisions \[of the Party Charter\],and the true story of the struggle for power cannot be discerned from its changing functions.Everything was done in the name of the Party Charter,Party discipline,Party control and Party legitimacy,but was really about trials of strength and political intrigue.
