中文摘要：本文认为麓川势力兴起与元朝边疆开拓、征缅战争和元末边疆控制减弱有密切关系。元代以前活动于西南边疆的傣族的先民金齿、白夷内部互不统属、部落林立、名称繁杂。元朝的边疆开拓使金齿地区的军事、交通、政治、外交等重要战略地位凸显出来,成为元朝统治者重点经略的边疆地区。征缅战争成为麓川势力兴起的条件。战后元朝对西南边疆的政治、军事控制减弱,云南内部元、段"分域构隙",麓川思可法势力乘隙兴起坐大,成为金齿地区前所未有的强大部族,导致西南边疆的地缘政治和民族关系发生了重大改变。

英文摘要：The rise of Luchuan power related to the Yuan dynasty's frontier expanding,the war of conquering Burma,and the decrease of its control over the frontier area.Before Yuan dynasty,there were many independent tribes under the name of Jinchi and Baiyi(金齿、百夷).The Yuan dynasty's expanding and administration in this area improved its position in military,politics,communication,which created the precondition for the rise of local power.As the Yuan dynasty loosened its control in the area,Sikefa took this opportunity and finally became the Luchuan power.
