英文摘要：The Chinese prehistoric square walled towns firstly emerged in Henan Longshan culture of Central Plains.Favorable geographical environment,maturation in technology,the special esthetic sight and worldview,as well as the cultural tradition of paying attention to overall layout and plan in advance,produced the precondition for the birth of square walled towns.In Henan Longshan culture the need of coutresy system in social development is the prime cause of emergence of prehistoric square walled towns.
