英文摘要：This paper takes Yixing as an economic and cultural model of Chinese pottery industry. From the socio-cultural and heritage perspective, it gives an analysis of 6000-year pottery production and extracts the important concepts of the "Yixing pottery industry as cultural heritage". It also demonstrates the important role of pottery heritage in the revival of pottery industry and the sustainable development of Yixing and even of China.
