中文摘要：通过追溯考古学文化观的历史来源,梳理不同考古学派文化观在概念上的差异,有助于反思中国考古学文化观所存在的问题,并认识到每一种考古学文化观都有其最佳的适应领域,而且它们的效用都是递减的,因此考古学家必须不断批判与探索,寻求更有效的解决问题的新理论与新方法。

英文摘要：Archaeology takes culture as its research object.However,as the cultures various archaeological schools of the present-day world study are different in connotation,it is difficult to get mutual understanding in their exchanges.By tracing the historical source of the archaeological concept of culture,sorting out the divergences of different archaeological schools' concepts of culture and re-thinking the problems before Chinese archaeology's concept of culture,it can be realized that every archaeological concept of culture has its most appropriate field,beyond which its function is progressively decreased.Therefore archaeologists should practice unceasing criticism and research so as to seek new theories and new approaches for solving problems still more effectively.
