中文摘要：<正> 上村岭虢国墓地位于河南省三门峡市北郊(图一)。五十年代末原黄河水库考古队曾在此发掘了200余座墓葬与车马坑,出土了大批珍贵文物,并编写出版了《上村岭虢国墓地》一书。八十年代末,这里发生了盗墓案件。1990年2月,河南省文物研究所与三门峡市文物队联合对被盗残墓进行了抢救性的清理工作。迄今已清理墓葬7座,车马坑及马坑4座。为与原发掘区的墓葬编号相区别,这次的发掘序号从 M2001号编起。现将2001号墓简报如下。一、墓葬形制及葬具M2001位于整个墓地的北部偏西处,为一座长方形竖穴土坑墓。墓口距地表0.4、其

英文摘要：In 1990,the Institute of Cultural Relics of Henan and the other units excavated TombNo.2001 at the graveyard of Kingdom Guai located in nothern subutb of Sanmenxia City,Henan Province.A lot of burial articles were unearthed,including bronze sactificialvessels,musical instruments,weapons,chariots and harnesses,jadewares and golddecorations etc.Amongs them,an iron sword with jade handle and bronze core was madeof artificial smelt iron sccording to the identification by specialists.Thus,the history ofman-made iron in China should be moved up.In addition,many jadewares are of greatvalue in sdudying ancient burial pattems and regulations,especially the mask decoratedwith jade.Based on inscriptions casted on the broze sacrificial vessels,the excavatorsconsidered that the name of the tomb's master was Guaiji,who might be one of the kingsof the Kingdom and was buried in the late Western Zhou Dynasty.
