英文摘要：he objective of this paper is to trace the footmarks of activities left by wang Xu-ance, a prominent diplomat of the Tang dynasty, Here 1 would like only to point aut thefollowing pointsl. the reason why the glorious deeds of wang Xuance were neglected in history and ftomthe beginning of this cenwry to now.the present situation of study of all these prob-lems .2. the time and task when he stayed in ludia, The facts mentioned in the paper haveproued thet if was true that he came to India four times.3.Judging by historical data , we can conclude that wang Xuance went there and back a-long the Silk Route through Rucha areas all the times except the second time he cameback from lndia. The facts refute different versons about his route.
