英文摘要：From October 10 through 13 last year, a seven -member Foreign Expert Delegation from the Foreign Language Publishing Bureau, headed by Wang Guozhen, Executive Editor- in-chief of Beijing Review paid a visit to Datong and Shuozhou. During their stay in Shanxi, they toured Datong's Yungang Grottoes, the Huayan Lower Temple, the Shanhua Temple and the Nine-Dragon Screen; visited Hunyuan's Overhanging Temple and Yingxian's Wooden Pagoda; and explored, among other state -owned, village -run or private enterprises, Datong Gear Group Co. Ltd., Gucheng Dairy Product Group Co. Ltd., Anjialing Open-cut Mine. And in Datong they inspected the community service of Beixin Garden Residential Area; they were evenasked to be guests of two families; and they also went visiting Datong Nanyang International School and Datong Early Childhood Education School. And in Shuozhou they viewed the city construction of Shuozhou and Huairen. Wherever they went, these foreign experts didn't forget to express thanks to all the people they came into contact with for their friendship and hospitality. They all agreed that they were much impressed during this trip. On behalf of all the experts of the delegation, Mine. Li Sha, a. Canadian expert of the French language, said, Shanxi is a land full of hope and vitality. We shall use our pen to tell the world whatever we have seen here. And we shall introduce Shanxi to even more people in the world.
