英文摘要：He Nu The platforms at Hongtudi of Paimashan , situated in the south - western outskirts of Chu capital -Ji'nan city (the present Jiang ling ) are large architectural remains of uncommon structure and advanced -technology. 7500m2. were excavated and two platforms were found here. According to the pottery vessels unearthed in Ashpit 1 (H1 ) and the pottery pieces in rammed earth , we can preliminarily reach a conclusion that the first platform was built in the middle Spring and Autumn period or slightly later , destroyed in the late stage of the Spring and Autumn; the second platform was built in the early warring stats period , destroyed in the late stage of the middle warring period. Synthesizing clues from technical specifications , the architectural style , the date of vessels in H1 , characteristics of vessels sets , the pit in which the memorial tablet was inserted (柱坑. ) , different earthcolours referring to different directions ( 方色土 . ) , location .and environment of the sites , records of historical books of pre - Qin dynasties and Chu's Bamboo slips from Baoshan , the auther hypothesised that the Platforms were the royal altar where sacrifcial ceremonies were carried out.
