中文摘要：塔基地宫清理是佛教考古的重要内容,本期发表了山西临猗双塔寺西塔北宋地宫清理简报,此地宫建筑装饰讲究,出土石函、银棺、木棺、舍利瓶等多种舍利容器,这些容器制作工艺精美。还发现大量材质各异的“佛骨”舍利。本期还刊布了四川成都市一处商代遗址和两座战国土坑墓的资料。战国墓内出土的青铜容器和兵器品种丰富,特色显明,为巴蜀文化的研究增加了新资料。

英文摘要：In January of 1995,immediately after the robbery took place at the underground cabinet of the Western Pagoda at the Double-Pagoda Temple,the archaeologists rushed to the scene for rescue excavation. Despite some damage on the closet, everything inside remained untouched. The excavation yields large amounts of Buddhist relics.According to the epitaph found in the cabinet,the once nine-storied pagoda was built in the 2nd year of the Xining reign of the Northern Song dynasty (AD 1069) to keep Buddha" s remains. The brick cabinet was exquisitely built in imitation of a wooden structure and ornately decorated. The excavated objects include a variety of well-decorated urns made of stone, silver, wood and glass. The amount of Buddha" s remains contained in them are unprecedented. They shed new light on the prevalence of Buddhism on the level of popular culture during the Northern Song dynasty.
