中文摘要：<正> 1993年6月7日,宁乡县老粮仓乡农民在该乡师古寨山发现一批商代铜铙,当时铜铙被在场的村民取走。宁乡县公安局、文化局、文物管理所闻讯后即时赶到现场,调查文物出土情况,并宣传动员村民交出了全部文物。现将这批铜铙的情况介绍如下。

英文摘要：The bells were unearthed on June 7,1993 at Shiguzhaishan,Laoliangcang,Ningxiang, Guangdong. It should be a storage as the bells were found buried in an oval earthen pit in four layers 0.5m below the surface. It is never a coincidence that five large bronze nao bells of the Shang dynasty were unearthed only twenty meters away in 1959.The ten bells can be divided into two types. Type I includes one piece with elaborate design, which is not often found on nao bells of the Shang dynasty. Type II include the rest nine with same shape but different sizes and clear design. A knock on the frontal gu and side gu would give two notes. A variety of modes can be played on these bells. The earliest of the bells is dated to the third phase of Yinxu while the latest to the end of the Shang dynasdty.
