中文摘要：<正> 在泰山西北支脉的灵岩山,有一座历史文化积淀极其深厚的千年古刹——灵岩寺。相传,灵岩寺由东晋时期的著名高僧朗公创建。据佛教史籍记载,竺僧朗(即朗公)为京兆人,前秦始皇元年(351年)移居泰山,在今济南郊区泰山北麓的柳埠创建了山东地区最早的佛教寺院——朗公寺。前秦永兴 (357—358)

英文摘要：Linyan Temple of Shan Dong Province is one of the most favored cultural relics in China because in China because of one treasure:Xue Zhi Towerwith relief related with King Ayu's legend. Xue Zhi Tower is the symbolic building in Linyan Temple, which has eight sides and ninelayers.The whole eight sides are decorated with 40 relief, but only 37 surived, which show the political biography of King Ayu inIndia and how the converted to Buddhism.
