中文摘要：高昌回鹘史是古代西域历史的重要组成部分，多年来研究成果颇多，但是存在的问题也不少，特别是由于一些基本概念模糊不清，从而影响了学科的深入发展。故有待于作进一步探讨。文章分名称、研究范围和意义、主要史料概述和研究史等专题，比较系统地简要介绍了高昌回鹘史研究的主要文献和成果，并阐述了本人对高昌回鹘史相关问题研究的主要观点，力图在前人研究的基础上对于高昌回鹘历史进行一番理论架构。以使人们对高昌回鹘在西域的活动以及重要性有一个准确的认识和了解。

英文摘要：The paper presents a systemic introduction to the major literature and results of the Gaochang Uygurs by analysis of the names, scopes and significance, major materials, and history of the studies of the Gaochang Uygurs as well as to the main ideas of the author on the topics about the history of Gaochang Uygurs with the hope to offer a theoretical frame for the studies.
