中文摘要:本文将道教学定义为以道教为研究对象的社会科学,指出其任务是系统地描述作为一种意识形态、社会现象和文化而存在的道教的内涵及表现形式,追溯其历史,分析其特点,判断其价值,揭示其本质及发展规律。本文还介绍了道教经典、道教史、道教思想、道教科仪、道教文学、道教宫观名山、道教音乐、道教外丹术、道教内丹术、道教医学等方面,认为这些是道教学研究的主要对象。并认为,道教与社会的各个方面,与上层建筑的其它领域,与国外,都发生了或疏或密的联系,这些联系也属于道教学研究的范围。
英文摘要:This paper defines Taoist studies as a kind of social sciences that takes Taoism as research object. It points out that its tasks are to systematically describe the connotation and manifestation of Taoism existing as a kind of ideology, social phenomena and cultures,to trace back to its historical origin,to analyze its characteristics, to judge its value,to reveal its essence and the law of evolution. This paper also introduces Taoist classics, Taoist history, Taoist ideas, Taoist rituals, Taoist literature, Taoist resorts, Taoist music, Taoist elixir making and active substance in vivo,Taoist medicine etc. to the readers,and regards these respects as the main objects of Taoist study. The author holds that there exist either loose or close relationships between Taoism and the various aspects of society and other domains of superstructure,these relationships also belong to the sphere of Taoist study. Born in 1944,the author is a professor of The Taoist Institute of China.
