中文摘要：本文考证了干宝身世中的若干重要问题，包括籍贯、家世、仕历、《搜神记》著作过程等。其中最重要的是考知干宝祖籍汝南新蔡，约汉末祖上避乱徙居吴郡海盐。永嘉五年为佐著作郎，建武元年擢著作郎，领修国史。在著作凡十年。咸和初补山阴令，迁始安太守。咸康元年王导请为司徒府右长史。二年三月卒官，葬海盐西南四十里金牛山南。《搜神记》创作始于建武元年，约在司徒府成书。

英文摘要：The text examines several important problems of Gan Bao's life, including the place of his birth, his fdmily background, his official career and the creative process of his work Soushenji, etc. Among which, the most important result is managing to know that Gan Bao's ancestral home was originately in Xincai, Nunan, and tranferred to Haiyan in the prefecture of Wu, in the late Han, for escaping from social upheaval and anarchy. He worked as clerk in his early days, and was promoted as prefecture chief of Shi' an after a dozen of years. At the first year of Xiankang (咸康), Mr. Wang Dao recommended him to be a secretary of the prime minister. He died in the second year of Xiankang and was buried in the south of Jinniu Moumtain, forty li away from the southwest of Haiyan. The work Soushenji was commenced at the first year of Jianwu (建武), and propably finished and made up in book form in the office of prime minister.
