英文摘要：From October 1999 to April 2000, archaeologists in cooperation with urban construction conducted testing excavation at Waliu, bringing to light some storage pits of the Erlitou culture and some Western Zhou tombs, either of aristocracy or common people. Large amounts of exquisite bronze ritual objects, weapons and horse-and-chariot fittings, jade articles and pottery vessels were unearthed from the Western Zhou tombs. Some bronze vessels bear inscriptions or tribal emblem. Two chariot-and-horse pits were also found. This report of excavation deals with the tomb coded ZGW99M1, which was found in October 1999. According to the excavated ritual bronzes, the tomb owners can be positioned on the social scale below daifu, and above yuanshi.
