英文摘要：There are only very sketchy accounts of the reign years of King Yi and King Li in historical literature, and they contradict one another. Contemporary scholars have made new investigations of their reigning periods in accordance with inscriptions on ancient bronze objects and scored successful results. However, differences occur among these scholars themselves due to their different determinations of the dates of the bronzes. Based on an account of methods for determining ancient bronze objects, the reign years of King Yi and King Li are worked out. The author holds that King Yi reigned for at least thirty three, while King Li occupied the throne for between seventeen and twenty six years.
