英文摘要：A prehistoric site north of the seat of Yishui County was excavated in 1987 by the Central and Southern Shandong Archaeological Team, Shandong Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, in cooperation with the Yishui County Museum. The work resulted in the discovery of 27 ash-pits, two drains and eight postholes, as well as more than 150 pottery vessels and stone tools. Based upon the unearthed objects it can be inferred that the site belonged to the time from the later early to the earlier late stage of Longshan culture. Although the finds are not so rich, they provide reliable evidence for tracing the relationship of the Longshan culture in the innermost Yimeng Mountain area and the source and upper and middle valleys of the Yihe River with the contemporary cultures in the surrounding areas.
