中文摘要：<正> 苗圃北地殷代遗址,位于河南省安阳市西郊洹河南岸殷墟保护区东南部,西北距小屯村约1公里,东北距后冈遗址0.8—0.9公里,东距今高楼庄村约0.7公里。苗圃北地遗址发掘始于1959年,嗣后我队在六十年代至八十年代陆续作过多次发掘。八十年代的发掘工作从1980年至1987年,实际发掘时间仅四个季度,即1980年冬、1982年春、1984、1987年的秋季,其中1980年冬和1987年秋是发掘墓葬。本文只报导1982年春和1984年秋殷代居址的发掘资料,有关殷代墓葬的发掘将另文介绍。主持这两季发掘工作的是郑若葵和徐广德,马晓宁承担器物照相,陈江浩、韩慧君承担器物绘图,潘其风和周本雄先生分别鉴定发掘出土的人骨和兽骨。

英文摘要：In 1982——84, the Anyang Archaeological Team carried out a large-scale excavation of the Yin site at Miaopu Locus North near Anyang, Henan Seven squares were opened, covering a total area of about 320 sq m. The site falls into four strata, of which the third stratum belongs to the late Yin Dynasty and the forth one, to the early Yin. There were excavated 20 ash-pits, 2 potterymaking kilns and a well. They can be divided into four phases, which correspond to the Ⅰ——Ⅳ periods of the Yin Ruins respectively. The first phase embraces 6 ash-pits; the second one, 3 ashpits and a kiln; the third one, 5 ash-pits, a kiln and a well; and the forth one, 6 ash-pits. The articles unearthed include pottery, bronze, stone, jade, antler and bone objects, oracle shells and bones, and shell artifacts, with the pottery, stone,antler and bone objects coming first in number, and the shell artifacts and oracle shells and bones following them. It is worthy of note that there are human hipbones for oracle use. The excavation provides new clues and data for studying the Yin culture and its periodization and especially reveals the site as a complex of a settlement, cemeteries and handicraft workshops.
