中文摘要：明代"三征麓川"是关系西南边疆稳定和国家安危的重要事件。明清史家由于对西南边疆地理环境、历史发展缺乏准确认识,或出于某些政治需要,用政治情感代替理性的史实分析,忽略对事件本身的探究,疏离对引发战争的边疆形势的考察,仅就朝政进行评述,出现了泛朝政化倾向,使这一边疆问题异化为朝廷政治斗争。而当代部分学者误将明清史家带有政治偏见的评论作为第一手史料运用,又使相关研究出现严重偏差。本文通过对明代"三征麓川"的历史进行探本寻源,试图说明边疆历史问题的复杂性以及研究时应注意的问题。

英文摘要："Three expeditions to Lu Chuan" was an important event concerning the Ming dynasty's southwestern borderland stability and security. Due to the lack of knowledge about the southwestern borderland history and geography,as well as some political reasons,the historians during the Ming and Qing dynasties disregarded the exploration on the historical fact,but used some political norms and feelings to comment on this big event. This critique of court politics reduced the borderland issue into court political struggle,which had produced a bad influence because the later scholars like to use their critiques as basic historic material to discuss this event. This article tries to probe into the real story about the Ming dynasty's "Three expeditions to Lu Chuan" ,and show the complicatedness of the borderland history,as well as the problems we should pay attention to when studying the borderland history.
