英文摘要：Baifu tomb No.2(M2) of the Western Zhou found in Changping,Beijing ought to be classified into the Yan lineage of tombs that were built specifically for the Shang descendants.Buried with a wealth of weapons,the female tomb occupant,while alive,may have been a general of the Yan State.The few weapons from the tomb showing clear features of northern weaponry might have been spoils from battles against the northern people.They should not be taken as evidence to identify the tomb occupant as a female chieftain of the northern Di people.
