英文摘要：The article, containing 4 categories: places named on the basis of natural geography, the places named in accordance with the north, south, and east positions of Xinjiang, the places named with regards cultural relics, compiles 120 national language names of places in different historic times in Xinjiang and points out the origin as well as the meaning of the name of every place.
