英文摘要：In the time of British contest against Russia in Central Asia,Francis Younghusband conducted explorations deep in Xinjiang and Tibet,and then even military aggression in Tibet;these aggravated the border crisis of our modern country.This paper is focused on the role Younghusband played in British expansion into Xinjiang and Tibet of our county in order to further studies on related questions by using both Chinese and English archives and documents.
