英文摘要：There are copious store of the images of (Vajrapānibalin) (also known as warriors) in the mural-paintings of the Kucha Grottoes, remained silent and virtually untouched through the centuries. The recently research results showing that two main types of Vajrapā existing there in the Kucha Grottoes, catalogue-speaking, naming Guhyapāda and (Vajrapānibalin). This article attempts to discussing the original sources of the belief in the two types of (Vajrapānibalin) by the textual research one by one and outline the way of their iconic development. At the same time, this article studies artistic creation and the main features of the two types of (Vajrapānibalin) systematically and point out that the figures of the two types of (Vajrapānibalin) had conveyed a moving representation of adoration over to the area adjacent to Qoco in belief.
