英文摘要：It puzzles scholars for along time how to explain the meaning of Uighur word uda y seen in inscription at platform of the Ju-yong Pass, Peking carved in 1342. Th e present paper thinks uday corresponding to the Mt. Wutai located in northeast Shanxi Province where is supposed as residence of Ma?jusri Bodhisattva by Chines e Buddhists. The fact shows that the Bodhisattva was worshiped by the Uighur Bud dhists in the Yuan Dynasty.
