中文摘要：　写本为残卷。根据存有叶码(用回鹘字写在背面的左侧)的残叶来判断,它似为一多达四卷的佛经。在中国的这二叶属第三卷。根据写本的语言特点,我认为该书成书或译成回鹘文在10—11世纪。但根据其字体和正字法特点,此写本则属于较后的13—14世纪。在某些叶的背面左方,用回鹘小字写有abitaki几卷几叶的字样。Abitaki应为汉文"阿弥陀经"的回鹘文拼音。经过与汉文《阿弥陀经》(由著名龟兹人鸠摩罗什于四世纪译成汉文)对照后,证明此书与《阿弥陀经》无关。另外,《阿经》仅有一卷,而此书则有四卷之多。所以它不是《阿经》的译本,而是内容属于阿弥陀佛崇拜的另一著作。Abitaki一名此处仅用做书名代号。1983年我访问敦煌时,曾在敦煌艺术研究所看到一小片回鹘文残片,左方除用回鹘文写有小字abitaki外,旁边尚用红墨写有五个汉字"大白莲社经"。所以我认为此书应为《大白莲社经》的回鹘文译本。

英文摘要：The manuscript is not complete.According to the extant paginations of some folios, it seems to be a voluminous work consisting at least of 4 chapters.These 2 folios belong to the 3rd chapter.On the basis of the language of our text I hold that it was written (or translated) in the 10th-11th centuries.But the script and some orthographical peculiarities used in our manuscript show that this copy belongs to the 13th-14th centuries.According to the title written in small letter on the left side of some folios,our book is called "Abitaki".After checking up with the Chinese version of the work "Amitābha-sutra (translated by the famous Kuchar monk Kumārajīva),we found that in content it has nothing to do with the latter.On the basis of a fragmentary piece of the same work kept in Dunhuang which I personally investigated in 1983,I hold that the correct title of text should be "The Sutra of the Great White Louts Society".Because on one side of this piece,beside the code name "Abitaki" there are also written 5 Chinese characters "大白莲社经Da Bai Lian She Jing".
