中文摘要：康熙年间,清朝政府史无前例地向活动于伏尔加河下游地区的土尔扈特部落派遣了使团,即后世所谓的“图理琛使团”。使团西使的动因可以说是多方面的,其中,与土尔扈特加强联系是要因之一,但并非清政府的主旨。其终极目的在于诱使与之关系友好的土尔扈特部东归故土,以牵制沙俄与准噶尔部等敌对势力。

英文摘要：Under the reign of Kangxi,the government of Qing Dynasty sent the "Tulichen" ambassadors to the lower reaches of Volga River in the west,where the Tuebate Tribe was located.There were many causes for the sending of the ambassadors by the government,among which persuading Tuebate to come back home eastwardly was the most important one.
