中文摘要：莫高窟屏风画是敦煌艺术中十分重要的一部分。它兴起于盛唐,经过中唐时期的发展,到了归义军时期发展成熟。盛唐后期,变文由中原地区传入敦煌,到了归义军时期已经十分盛行。屏风画的发展过程中,与敦煌变文逐步形成了比较紧密的关系,尤其表现在创作题材方面。莫高窟屏风画由于所处石窟中的位置、采光等因素,是不太适合直接配合变文讲唱。

英文摘要：The screen painting of Mogao Grottoes is an important part of Dunhuang art. It raised in flourishing period of Tang Dynasty, and matured in Guiyijun period. In the late period of flourishing Tang, Bianwen was introduced from central plains to Dunhuang, and became popular in the Guiyijun period. The development of screen painting had close relation to Dunhuang Bianwen.
