中文摘要：本文从语言民族学角度论述了鲜卑民族源流问题,在考证和确认“鲜卑”之称为复合词,义为“虎虎”的基础上,重点地论证了鲜卑为虎狮图腾的民族,是轩辕黄帝之裔的问题。并阐述了相关的拓拔、锡伯、党项等民族的族源问题。同时又不同程度地释读了单于、轩辕、乞颜等一系列氏称和族称。

英文摘要：From the view of language and ethnic studies, the paper states the origin of Xianbei ethnic group. After confirming that the name of Xianbei is a compound word with meaning of "tiger, tiger" by studying, the author mainly relates that Xianbei was an ethnic with tiger and lion as its totem, and was the descendant of Xuanyuan Huangdi group. The origin of some related groups such as Tuoba, Sibo and Dangxiang is also discussed here. What is more, the paper interprets the names of some tribes, ethnic groups such as Chanyu, Xuanyuan and Qiyan.
