英文摘要：In this paper, the author analyses and sums up the characteristics of the Daorji inscription in cave 12 of the Yulin Grottoes in writing and grammar. The inscri ption was written in Vygur language which had the loan of the mongolian letters. He compares if with manuscripts written in the same language in Middle Ages. judging by the historical records of the place names "Yong-Chang-Fu" "shashou" appeared in the inscription, he textual researches into the inscription's writer who was unknown the name and only appeared as the first person "we" in the inscription and that the written time of the inscription was July10, 1414 or July 10, 1426A. D.
