中文摘要：日本学者通过对敦煌古藏文禅宗文献的研究 ,证明某些中原地区的禅宗文献被译成藏文 ,传到了吐蕃 ;有些藏文佛教文献直接译自梵文 ,而非自汉地传入 ,从而推进了对藏传佛教和汉地佛教禅宗的研究 ,领先于国际敦煌学界。

英文摘要：Japanese scholars through their study of the Chan documents in ancient Tibetan found at Dunhuang proved that a number of Chan literature of Central Plains had been translated into Tibetan and introduced to Tubo,and that a number of Tibetan Buddhist literature had been translated directly from Sanskrit and they were not introduced from the Han areas.Representing the highest level in world study of Buddhism,it promoted the study of Tibetan Buddhism and the Chan in Han areas.
