英文摘要：Nestled in escarpment of sheer cliffs and towering pinnacles, Xuanzhong Temple, also known as Shibi (Stone Cliff) Temple, is located 10 kilometers northwest of Jiaocheng, Shanxi. Believed to be the oldest preaching site of the Pure Land school of Chinese Buddhism, the temple was first built in the second year (472) of Yanxing reign of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei dynasty, claiming a history of over 1,500 years.
