中文摘要： 黔东梵净山号称贵州第一佛教名山,是全国名山中惟一的弥勒菩萨道场。梵净山佛教兴自明初,至 明万历年间神宗敕令重建梵净山金顶后,梵净山乃闻名海内。山中建有著名的五大皇庵及其48座脚庵。梵净 山佛教派属临济禅宗,深受四川禅宗佛教影响,其各寺历代住持多为蜀僧,传承可考者即有十世,至明季始 传破山临济禅宗一系。明清以来,因梵净山被视为与四大名山并列的第五大佛教名山,故数百年来,黔、湘、 鄂、川、赣、滇等省的香客纷纷前往朝山拜佛,至今仍香火旺盛。
英文摘要： Fanjing Mountain, situated in Eastern Guizhou, is known as the first sacred Buddhist mountain in Guizhou province, and also the only Rites of Maitreya within sacred Buddhist mountains of national level. Buddhism in Fanjing Mountain can be traced back to early Ming Dynasty. The mountain didn’t become famous to the outside world until Wanli Period of Ming Dynasty when Emperor Shenzong ordered the golden roof of Fanjing Mountain to be rebuilt. There were five big famous main temples and forty-eight small ones. Deeply influenced by Sichuan Zen Sect, Buddhism in Fanjing Mountain belongs to Lin Ji Zen Sect and its abbots came mostly from Sichuan province, ten of generation of whom can be found in the records. Since Ming and Qing Dynasties, Fanjing Mountain has been regarded as the fifth sacred Buddhist mountain, thousands of thousands pilgrims have been coming from Guizhou and other neighboring provinces to worship Buddha for hundreds years.
