中文摘要：摩尼教宗教典籍有关性别、性行为、异性关系、生育等方面的描绘,显得与众不同。它有时侯避免使用任何令人联想起性行为的字眼,有时则特别详细地描绘异性关系,甚至对乱伦之交津津乐道。其原因,一方面由于摩尼教借鉴了基督教、琐罗亚斯德教、佛教,希腊、中国文化中的某些因素; 另一方面,则是其独特的明暗二宗论教义使然。

英文摘要：The descriptions of genders, sexuality and generation, etc. in Manichean documents are very peculiar. Somewhere they select carefully the words that won't remind someone of any sexual things; somewhere they describe in detail heterosexual relations, even incest. As for the causes, on the one hand, because Manicheism borrowed some factors from Christianity, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Greek and Chinese civilizations; on the other hand, the doctrine of dualism of Manicheism result in this phenomenon.
