中文摘要：山西大同善化寺大雄宝殿为辽代建筑,殿内现存壁画是清代康熙年间的遗作。文章通过实地考察,从壁画与殿内塑像的联系、与山西辽金壁画的比较、画中建筑的时代特征、画面与底层绘画形象的重叠以及画中所表现的华严密教思想等,论证了现存的清代壁画图像,可能是对金初原创壁画的描摹,或说是一种并不高明的翻制。

英文摘要：The Great Hall in Shanhuasi Temple of Datong is a building of the Liao Dynasty(947-1125 A.D.),where there still existed some murals from the years of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty.By field studying and investigation,the author of this article discusses and demonstrates,through the relationship between the murals and the statues in the Hall,the comparisons with the murals from the Liao and Jin Dynasties in Shanxi Province,the time characteristics of architectures in the paintings,the overlaid original pictures at the bottom,and the thought of the Huayan Esoteric Buddhism shown in these paintings,that these existant murals from the Qing Dynasty might be the copy of the original murals in the early Jin Dynasty,or a kind of inferior re-creation.
